Privacy Policy

We collect the following types of information:

• Account information: name, email address, and authentication details when you sign up or log in.
• Shop and business information: shop name, timezone, business hours, and configuration you provide in Pulsr.
• Square data (read-only): sales, orders, products, and related POS data accessed through Square's APIs after you authorize the connection. Pulsr does not modify your Square account.
• Usage data: pages viewed, features used, device and browser type, IP address, and limited technical diagnostics used to operate and secure the service.
• Billing information: if you subscribe, payment details are processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.

Pulsr reads only product names and transaction amounts from your Square account, together with their timestamps. Pulsr does not access, import, or store any customer personal data (such as customer names, emails, or payment card details), and does not receive payment or banking information. We use this aggregate sales data solely to generate your forecasts and prep plans.

We use this information to:

• Provide prep plans, estimates, dashboards, and related product features.
• Connect to and sync read-only data from Square at your direction.
• Operate, maintain, secure, and improve Pulsr.
• Communicate with you about your account, product updates, and support requests.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

Where applicable, we process personal data to perform our contract with you, pursue legitimate interests (such as security, product improvement, and fraud prevention), obtain consent where required, or meet legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with service providers that help us run Pulsr — such as hosting, email, payment processing, and customer support — subject to appropriate safeguards. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.

When you connect Square, Pulsr accesses Square data according to Square's terms and the permissions you grant. Square's privacy policy applies to data held by Square.

We keep account and shop data while your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may request deletion of your account, subject to applicable law and legitimate business needs (for example, billing records).

We use technical and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the data we process, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and access controls. Your Square connection credentials are stored securely and used only to read your sales data on a read-only basis. The transactional data imported from your Square account consists only of product names, transaction amounts, and timestamps. We do not collect, import, or store your customers' personal information (such as names, email addresses, payment card information, or customer profiles). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including within the European Economic Area and by subprocessors elsewhere. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal data, and to data portability. You may also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, preferences, and security. Limited technical diagnostics are used to operate and secure the service. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect functionality.

Pulsr is a business service and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Pulsr is an evolving product. Some features may be offered as beta or early access. Experimental features may change, be limited, or disappear over time without notice.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Where appropriate, we may notify you by email or in-app notice of material changes.
